Okay, so about the luddite thingy. I had a smartphone from age 15 to age 20. My depression worsend as soon, as i got the smartphone and i knew it was the problem. When my ex was going to tokio for a month and i didnt had uni and also not really friends. So i knew i would be pretty much alone for a month. And mind you, the relationship was really toxic. I took this opportunity and prepared everything in a week. The boredom was really hard. The next semester in uni was mindblowing. It was so easy to learn and it made so much fun. Still years later i find it a lot easier to do the things i like and study. I do watch a considerable amount of youtube. My main issue was tiktok. I also love it, to not be so reachable on my dumbphone. I dont really tell people, i dont like the attention. And most people dont realise, that i dont have a smartphone. Thats very funny to me, cause we dont need the smartphones as much, as we think we do. For my generation its unthinkable to live without the internet. But it hasnt been that long that the internet came to live. I currently found a group of young people that live without a smartphone, called "The Luddite Club". Thats how i found the word Luddite. They have a few clips on youtube too.
